Are these two calibers similar in power and speed? The numbers I find in the 99th edition of the Shooter's Bible show that the .357sig is almost as powerfull as the magnum round.
common sense tells me the magnum round is just that, A LOT more, but is it really? I've shot both and to me the felt recoil is not that different.

They are about the same indeed. The .357sig was designed to give the performance of the mag in an autoloader platform. Wheels vs. clips is the biggest difference.

The muzzle velocities are about the same. The .357 magnum has a slightly larger bullet diameter. The .357 Sig should really be named the 9mm Sig.
