New on this site, I have a question, I loaded some 40 cal and ended up getting a bulge about half way up the the cartridge cases This is like a ring all along the case it is not like the normal bulge you get when you reload.

I will take some pictures and and post them when I learn how to upload them, I can only conclude that I did something wrong when I was setting up the bullet sitting. In the mind time any suggestions?

I have run into that issue with 9mm and it can be fixed by belling the case to a greater degree. Inadequate starting clearance causes too much resistance that slightly buckles the case.
