you don't say what bullet weight, but I have been using Berry's 185gr HBRN Plated in both 45 ACP and LC. Great bullet.

Very interested in what you use in that very same round,( 180 gr hbrn 45 acp ). I like the affordability of those particular bullets but cannot find any data! The pistol to used is a 1911 Rem Rand, so I would like to stay in the mild to moderate range.

At this time, I would take any bullet I can find. You can buy some Precision "black" bullets--they have a concave base (hollow base) and are excellent.
