I picked up a CZ 27 automatic pistol this morning as part of a shotgun trade. Here are the markings on the pistol and pics. I have figured out that it is .32 auto and may have been built during the German occupation of the Czech Republic but before the Nazis took over production, as it doesn't not have the "FNH" markings on it but does have German language on the top. It's probably got about 75% blueing left due to the markings from being left in the holster for many decades.

Any idea of current value? I cleaned and lubed it after taking pictures and everything seems to work the way is should. Would this be a safe gun to fire or just a vintage collectible? The guy I got it from has never fired it and didn't know if his father had ever fired it.

The top reads: BOHMISCHE WAFFENFABTIK A.G. PRAG 39993

The left side reads: Pistole Modell 27 Kal. 7,65

Here is everything that came with the pistol.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts or advice!

I would say that, in our area, a non Waffenampt CZ, wartime production pistol, in that condition, would sell at $250-$275.

Thanks for the info. This is the first one I've seen in this area, but I don't hit all the gun stores and pawn shops every week either.

I got a chance to shoot this gun over the weekend, using older .32 ACP bullets. I don't exactly how old they were, but some were turning green. LOL Every 2nd or 3rd shot jammed. Either the gun isn't or wasn't feeding out of the magazine right, or the old ammo didn't have enough "pop" to cycle the pistol correctly. Other than that, it was pretty accurate from 25-30 feet off target. I have fresh Winchester .32 ACP ammo to try out next time I am at my parents place.
