Sorry for the late response. I use a G19 as one of my carry guns. I personally don’t think you would need the 19C. The muzzle clime of the 19 is minimal and very controllable.

I have a G19 and I like it quite a bit. I've talked to a friend who has a G23C and he likes it but it's louder than heck.

The 19C would be nice but it's not necessary in my opinion, the extra noise is awful irritating. Besides the 19 doesn't recoil all that hard anyway.

I highly recommend the G19. I really like mine.

HI REV!!

Get the G19! One of the most popular Glocks out there and for good reason!

Hello everyone. Just signed up today and was reading this post. I have a G19 that I've owned for close to seven years now. In that time it has never needed a new part and has never jammed on me, not even once, even using my own reloads that I use in three-gun matches. I have been able to hold my own with this pistol amongst the users of mostly 1911 type pistols during competition. The fact that you have what would be considered a compact pistol that holds as many rounds as most full size 9mm handguns is still a great concept(even more with +2 mag floorplates). Although the Steyr is a good shooting pistol, my nod would go to the Glock for the reason that it has been around a long time, thus you can get a whole array of factory original parts and aftermarket items as well from quite a few different vendors if need be. Though I've owned several 9mm handguns in the past, I consider the Glock 19 to be the best utilitarian pistol in it's class.

I have owned both of these handguns A while back styer did a free up grade to the trigger to make it smoother to pull I found that the M9 shot very well and the sight picture was easy to pick up.But I would never trade my Glock as far as getting it compensated if you have to shoot in the dark or close to your body like in a car you will get hot gas in you face and on your body and the flash makes for a hard follow up shot. There is almost no recoil from the 9mm anyways but I would install night sights.Good luck and shoot stright.
