Maybe $100 dollars in decent shape on the general market. Someone with a real interest in collecting H&R guns may pay more. They were not of the top of the class but decent guns. I haven't had one of these but owned many of the others and that seems to be the going price. I would rather have one of these than the Heritage Arms single action out there in the $150 range.

Thanks for the reply. I like to carry my Forty Niner loaded with birdshot while fly fishing. I have seen more than a few rattlesnakes over the years and while none have been a problem so far I want to be prepared if one ever decides to come after me.
