Use a tape measure, and place the zero end at the forcing cone, the end of the barrel right in front of the cylinder. Read the length at the muzzle. That's it.

tnks i went from end to stock came up with 9.50 so true would be 10"
should of added haveing a time to get the right holster and it looks like it will have to be a cross draw.
