Hi im new to buying a pistol and just wondering if anybody could help me out.

What type of Taurus is this, all i know that it has been moonclipped and is an 8 shot 627 .357. Here is a pic

I guess I don't understand what you want to know.

You know the make, model, and caliber.

The only thing I could add is it is a stainless steel, double-action revolver, known as the model 627 Tracker, introduced by Taurus in the year 2000 as a 7 shot revolver.

The 6 1/2 inch vent ribbed barrel version was introduced in 2001

I've never seen an 8 shot model 627.

Thanks for that as i was just guessing what it was, which in the mean time i have purchased it

yes it is an 8 shot that has been moon clipped with S&W clips.

I put about 100 rounds through it the only thing i could find that the trigger was a bit tight.
