Sorry Finch, the rules for both Enhanced Service Revolver and Stock Service Revolver Divisions include this provision for barrel length:

B. Have a barrel length of 4.2" or less (as measured from the front of the cylinder).

Most clubs would let you shoot your 6" revolver for a match or two to help you decide if you want to go ahead and trade or buy something else.
