Do you have a gun you would like to trade? Do you have almost enough, but not quite, to cover a purchase? Go on GunBroker.

Look at every pistol you are interested in and do what I do. I send out 100 questions to seller and offer a trade or less than asking. For every hundred I send out... I get 10% positive replies, 10% negative replies and the rest no answer.

On my offer to trade the .45LC Taurus... I have 30 positives fgrom Alaska to Florida. I believe I am trading with an Alaskan dealer for a new Bersa .380 and a used AMT backup. He has no real use for those guns in Alaska and the Taurus in .45LC goes for a premium there. The catch? I'll pay shipping both ways.

It works... just be patient. Also, be aware, if you have a spam-blocker on your puter, your replies from the dealer will be blocked. Check before you empty your junk mail or bulk mail!

Good Luck!!!

You said trade first. The thought of selling a gun sent my head spinning and I was lost after that. :?

You said Gunbroker, the auction site. Did you mean GunsAmerica, the classifieds site? Gunbroker usually doesn't show a buy it now price or the desired selling price because of the auction format.
