I want to have a pistolsmith compensate/port my .38 cal 2inch bbl revolver. Magnaport is an example of this service. How much on average would this custom feature cost?

I don't have the exact cost involved, google magport. Check your locals, as Sheels is here in town and they can port. The cost of shipping a handgun may change your mind.

IMHO, With a 2 inch barrel I dont think ports are going to do much of anything besides make a bigger flash in your face and make the pistol a tad louder :?
