Well I wont laugh-- I have a couple S&W MDL's 78G, in 22-- one was new in the box, but they sat around for some time because the O rings went bad, as they are known to do. I found a source, and have one back on line, and will get the other up and running this weekend. Mine sits on the desk, with a target about 4 feet away-- I take a few shots every day, one handed. Never hurts--
