Wondering if there is any downside to them. I don't reload. Will shoot out of both revolvers and pistols. Cal .357, .380 ,9mm , .22 , and .38 special. I don't know if CCI makes the .38 and .380 in aluminum but that's the sizes I use.

Thanks

If you don't reload, there's no downside to aluminum ammo. In fact, it saves you the hassle of trying to recover your brass if you shoot autoloaders... shoot it and walk away.

cci does make them in 38 spc. dont know about the 380 tho. you may have a hard time finding them since 380 was like gold several months ago. im sure the al case ones went just as fast.

the only issue you may have is function in your 380. some autoloaders dont like them and the only way to find out is to shoot some.

of course your revolver shoudnt have any issues.

i like using them since the indoor range i frequent, the brass will sometime go in front of the firing line and i cant retreive them. i hate loosing my good brass.
