Can anyone tell me anything about this pistol or how to go about finding information and value.

A single Christian fish symbol is stamped in the center/top

The gun needs restoration. It only has one flaw, 1 firing pin is broken.
A local gun shop could not find this pistol in any reference book

JL Galef - an NYC based company that imported among other things low to medium qulaity firearms from Belgium, Italy and Spain. They went out buisness around 1983, so no parts there.

Eibar, made in Spain- Eibar is an area in the Basque area of northern Spain known for the manufacture of firearms. most of the Spanish made SW knockoffs came from this region

1925 could be the manufacturing date I don't know

The shield with 3 astericks is the Eibar proof for non selfloading pistols after 1923

44 Extra long shotshell, a shot shell based on the 44-40 case with a shot load encased on a plastic capsule like the current CCI 357 and 44 snake shot shells.

Here is the down side since this is chambered for shotshells and the barrels are 10 inches you have what is called a short shot gun by the National Firearms Act of 1934. You should contact the closest ATF office to find out if you have a unregistered regulated firearm, if so you may have to surrender it to them. On the other hand it may be exempted, only they will know for sure. If it is exempted try and get that from them in writing. Failiure to make this determination could result in a fine, federal jail time, a federal felony conviction resulting in the lose of all future gun owning rights.

If not, see above, as it could be classified as an "Any Other Weapon" and subject to the National Firearms Act law.

If it has rifling, no problem.
