I've posted this in the Gunsmithing topic without any response so I'm going to also ask here.

I'm looking to install a "red dot" scope on my Beretta 96 but I'm having difficulty finding a scope mount??? If anyone has some input please respond.

Also, any comment on the .22 Beretta conversion kit for the 96?

Thanks
Brian

Hello All here in PistolWorld !!
My name is David Woroner, CEO of Survival Consultants International LLC. and its subsidiary Gear4Ops (dot) com

This is my first post *(well actually second, the first one obviously was erased)... OK, now Im "registered" :D

The question above, is directly in my "line of business"......... I am the patent holder of the Wor4 Tacrail and it is being picked up by Beretta. Recently, it has finally (after two years of "wrangling" with a great, GREAT company!) i am proud to say that the tacrail will soon, (very soon, if not already) ... be carrying the "TRIDENT" upon each rail, with individual serial numbers. (no, we arent' gonna ask you to register anything, it just helps in "foreign countries, etc." < and only ALLIED to the USA...)
Let me say that the "mount" is by far, in my humble opinion better than any "nitrolon" or other rail for the M9/ 92FS.
I have personally put 200,000 rounds through ONE gun, with the same rail on it through out. I dumped it out of a car onto the road at 40 MPH. I dropped it off of a 3 story building, smashed into walls, glass windshields, etc....... ( I love the gun I tortured like this, it should be in the "Case of Glory" at Beretta!) I can't believe the thing still works! ( I did bust three red dots, and none of the lights failed.)

Anyways, if anyones interested, and I really don't want to make my first post "all about me and my work." It is in direct response to the question above, and pertinent.
I won't put up an email addy or website address because thats just not cool to do on someone else's forum. (even though I couldnt care less on our berettatactical forum, you can post anything "informational", but the ONE rule i will not budge on is slinging mud at each other....)
Ok, Ive been workin' myself silly, and Im reading this and I look like im rambling....... So, with that, HI ALL, my names Dave, happy to be here!!! DW
Ok,
