Looks like another GREAT forum.

My eye sight is getting worse with age and I was thinking of installing a Red Dot on my 1987 Ruger Mark II Target model.

I found a non drill mount from Jack Weigand that seems to be well made.


Any Red Dot scope recommendations? 30mm, 42mm?

Brand?

1X, 2.5X, or more?

I have a personal soft spot for Aimpoint optics. I really like the new tiny models they came out with last year, micro T-1, etc. I don't have any pistols that I want to put optics on but this would be my first choice. It isn't a cheap optic, but they are extremely well built. Check them out on my site.

There are other options out there, just depends on two things. How much money you want to spend and magnification or not. If you need any other advice/options just drop me a line.
