Since most of my handguns are plastic :), I have no idea the value of something like this.

Colt Frontier with matching 22 mag. cylinder. May be unfired, and in the original wooden box. Has all papers.

Any collector value ? More of a shooter ?

Thanks,

Tvone. During a 13 year period there were thousands of Commemorative models made. This was between 1958 -71. Unfired in original box and with all papers in new condition the price could run from $400-$900
In 1962 there was a run of only 20 pairs of cased matched 22 lr and 22mag called Fort Findlay. There going price in new condition is around $3200.
The Stoeger Traders Guide gives a full listing of all the models made during those years .
Good luck with whatever you decide.

I just saw a Colt New Frontier , 4 1/2" barrel, at a retail store for $325. It is a .22LC and in very used condition. Is it worth the price? I know Colts always increase in value, so if I restore it, will I get my money back later?
