I have an old 1903 Colt .32 ACP but need to purchase a pistol w/ more stopping power for a carry weapon. Considering SA XD9 or XD40 or Sig 239 .40 or 9mm. With all things being equal...ie. I'm comfortable w/ both...which would be a better buy. I realize the Sig is at least a couple bills more, but all things being equal.

Thx.

Also, any opinions on SA XD Subcompact's would be appreciated.

I also own a 1903 Colt .32 .... love the pistol, but agree that you need more stopping power for a carry weapon. I favor a .38 spec (S&W) for concealed carry.... with +P ammo it has pretty good punch.[/i]
