Dammit!

Remember that .22WMR HiStandard Derringer I bid on? I lost it to a hit and run bidder. Well, I just got an email from the owner asking if I wanted it at my highest bid of $150. They sell, regularly, for nearly twice that.

Problem is, I've gone thru my "gun money" buying one just two days ago.

I am really upset.

Sorry to hear that, Paul. I know this won't help you now, but FWIW Gunbroker.com has a policy where they extend the auction time for 15 min if there is a bid placed in the last minute or so of the auction just to stop the snipers. Hope you get it next time.
If that's your monthly allowance then maybe just cut back next month? I never pass on something I really want/need if I can just slow down for a while later. Then again, my philosophy got me to buy a $900 shotgun and a $1050 gun safe in two weeks so maybe I'm not the best person to listen to.
OR... maybe you don't have a huselhold to run; wife to please and bills... bills... bills.!

Oh, to be young again! :D
I never thought of young and broke as something to aspire to. As far as expenses go your point is taken.
That really sucks!

kind of sounds like my kind of luck.

Mike.
