I know that some handguns are inoperable when the clip is missing. Is this true for the Davis P-380? Could a person load a single bullet without having a clip and then discharge the weapon?
You should be able to fire it with out a clip. Yes you have to have the clip in to fire some pistols like a Mauser .380 but that feature has never been popular with American buyers only Europeans.
i own a davis p-380 and it WILL fire without the magazine being inserted. so yes, you can rack a single round into the chamber, remove the magazine, and still fire the loaded round.
