hey i was talkin to a shooting friend online and he was telling me that old CDs make great pinpoint targets

what u do is put the CD in something that will hold it up and then u put a piece of masking tape on the back to cover the center hole and then the object is to try n shoot the bullet through the center and if u miss then u shatter the CD and if ur a really bad shooter u will miss the cd completly :lol:

i got some old CD-Rs that are all scratched up n dont work no more so the next time i got out shooting im gonna try that :wink:

I do that quite often down here, I'm a network administrator so I have thousands of free cd's around. It gets really interesting with my mauser. If you hit the bulls-eye, the cd still flies off just from the impact. But it doesn't break. We also lay soda bottles on end and try to put a round thru the neck of the bottle and blow out the back.

Well, I am lucky enough to have free access to an unused range, as long as I clean up when I'm done and don't do anything unsafe. We usually have it to ourselves.

lol hey masshunter when i saw u talkin bout ur mauser i thought u were sayin my name for a second :lol: anyways yesterday i spent all day shooting so thats why i wasnt here but i had great fun and i tried the CD targets but got mad at em cuz i couldnt shoot through the center so we all jus shot em up with our shotguns :twisted:
