Help me please with my G26. I took the slide off my pistol today just to look inside to see how dirty it is , it was clean so I put the slide back on looked at the gun and the spring was sticking out the front of the gun. AHHH! scared the crap out of me I thought NNNOOOOOO!!! so I took the slide back off and put it back on and everything looks fine now. I didnt remove the spring or anything either time I just simply took off the slide. Is my Glock ok? Has this happened to anyone else?
This happened to me with a taurus pt-111 pro 9mm while shooting and it was because the gun broke. Any Suggestions???

Not sure how that happened. It's never happened to me. In fact, i the spring is on the guide rod properly, I don't see how it could happen.

You wouldn't happen to have pictures of it with the spring hanging out?

Try to function test it and use new snap caps. Check on youtube to see how to assemble a glock or buy the Complete Glock Reference Guide by Ptooma Productions.

This happens on Glocks from time to time, especially on the compact models. It is nothing to worry about. Some of the aftermarket springs will stick out even further than the stock springs do. This is my Glock 30. It still runs like a top, and functions perfectly normal.
