I believe its a K frame because the S&W site lists it as a medium frame, same as the model 10 which I know is a K frame. If it has fixed sites I think the only way to mount a different sight setup would be to drill and tap the topstrap. I'm not sure that's safe to do.

Can someone tell me what kind frame my S&W 64-5 has because I want to change grips and Im a little confuse about it?
