I need to sell my dad's pistol and have someone interested in it, but have no idea how to price it. I know nothing about guns, but here's the basic info I have on this one. My dad bought it in the 1950's and it is a Unique Mod 52 22 LR Cal. He was always meticulous with it and I'm assuming that since he was carrying it recently that everything still works. I can't stress enough how much he cleaned and cared for it. How would I go about getting an idea of the value? I want to be sure to get close to what it's worth but don't want to rip off a friend either...

This is probably way too late but I suggest going to the local bookstore and checking the value in the Blue Book of Gun Values.
