Some time ago I bought two derringers from a veteran acquaintenance of mine. The story was that they were found behind a false wall in a pre-civil war home in Virginia. They are very small caliber - 22 or less. The problem is now that I want to dispose of them I have no idea where to go to get good information. One is a single shot where the barrel rotates to one side for loading. The only marks on it are an A with a star over it and an oval with something stamped in it.

The other is a six shot revolver with Creedmore (?) stamped on the barrel. If someone could just point me in the direction to learn more I would appreciate it.

I have photos, but for some reason can not get them to transfer to the forum. If you email me I will send them on.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this.
