Hello. My name is Ken, and am seeking help identifying this Browning semi auto. Any information about the model number, history, and value would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help.

From the pictures it looks like a Browning 1910/55 .380 semi-auto pistol.

After a little research, I found it to be a model 10/71. The were made between 1971 and 1974 and is based upon the frame of the model 10/55. Seems as though the current value is around $400. Thanks for the reply Davis.

Your finding on the 10/71 is the correct model #. This gun had to be extensively modified to enter the US after the GCA'68. The barrel was made longer, adjustable sights were added, a target style thumb rest was added all to pass the import restrictions of the GCA'68. I bought one new in the pouch they provided for it, and with the hanging tags for $375 10 years ago.
