I just put a Rough Rider on order. I don't have any delusions of handing this one down as a family heirloom, but I have heard good things about it.

Any comments on this gun as a practice single action revolver? Until I get into reloading, practice with a .45 is going to be a bit pricey. I am new to revolvers, so any other tips would be appreciated as well.

Thanks!

I guess since no one has ever answered, they hate to say anything since you have already ordered the gun.

Most folks would suggest saving up and getting a Ruger Single Six.

Good luck with it! Hope it works out.
