I have a S&W heritage model 15 on layaway right now. It has a case colored frame and blued barrel and cylinder. The grips are really beautiful. I would have bought it outright since it has the original box and retains 70% case color but the Python I just bought set me back a fortune. I'll have plenty of pics up in a few weeks.

Ask and you shall receive. :D I should have said more like 50% color remaining but still a nice gun. I haven't decided whether I'm going to keep it yet. Maybe I'll offer it for a reasonable profit and see if anyone bites. If not I could easily keep it.

What I find strange is the lack of holster wear on the muzzle and cylinder. The blued parts are nearly mint except for the turn ring. I find that very interesting considering the obvious cosmetic wear on the frame. Also, there isn't a scratch anywhere on the gun and the grips are flawless as well. Odd.

If I'm not mistaken, that is how the heritage models look brand new from the factory.

I think your revolver is 100%!

Great find. How much was it if you don't me asking?
