I have an older model Browning High Power that has a safety plunger in the rear of the trigger assembly that keeps it from firing unless the clip is in the gun. This little device causes a very squashy trigger pull. I have shot another HP that had this device removed and the quality of the trigger pull was much better.

Is anyone experienced with removing this little safety plunger device? I am mechanically inclined and have the tools to perform this work, but I am apprehensive about just striking out with trial and error on this task.

Can anyone here give me a few instructions or give me contact info for someone that could provide such instruction?

After posting the same request for information on another website, I received everything that I needed to perform the trigger work. I easily completed the work and my gun shoots great with my self-performed trigger job.

In case anyone here is interested in this information, see the link below.
