My wife sent me this same story recently. It looked like a doctored photo to me,but I've been wrong before. It'll be interesting to keep up with this one. National Geographic went nuts about "Hogzilla". Maybe they'll investigate thos one also.
I have read that the photo was not doctored. The pig was, in fact, that large. But it was a domestic pig named Fred that had been purchased from its previous owner. It was set loose on a hunting preserve where the kid shot it.
if it was an hog, that was cut as a pig.. ive seen 600 pounders myself.. biggest danger they are is to the wifes flower beads..
especially if raised as a pet.
