Great looking Kimber. One of the best 1911's made. I've wanted to purchase one for a while.
I also like your Kel-Tec. Is that a P3AT or P32? I just purchased a P3AT hard chromed(My briefcase gun). It took 9 months for it to arrive after placing my ordering.
It's a p32, I've had it for quite a while, it's my "go everywhere" gun. I will probably get a p3at one of these days, but for now the .32 will have to do. How is the recoil on the p3at?

Yes I do love the kimber, I've had that one since 97, I was one of the hunting department managers for a while at Scheels in town, when they first started carrying the kimber 1911s, and I fell in love with it, so I used my employee discount to buy it!! Of all the guns I bought while I worked there, it's the only one I still have.

I've only shot a friend's KelTec .32 a couple of times but from what I remember I don't think there is much difference in the recoil. The .380 is actually quite manageable considering light weight and two finger grip.
I just picked up a P40 and it is a rather interesting gun. Even the 40 isn't too bad to shoot, I can shoot the center out of a B-27 target out to about 5 yards without thinking. 10 yards or double taps to COM and one to the head takes a bit more concentration but this is not meant to be a long range or precision gun. The KelTec website seems to have quite a bit of info on their guns, at least that is the impression I got from a quick scan of it.
Oh yeah, Kimber puts out a quality gun, I think they just put out a double stack model which means I'll have to look at them a little closer.
Kimber... the Rolls Royce of 1911's! Nice guns!!! :D

Thanks paul! :)
I would love to post my picture of the 2 Kimbers I have but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong :?:

Can someone give me a clue what I'm doing wrong? I've hit the "Img" then inserted the "URL" from Facebook where the picture is. All I get is a small box with a red "X" inside.

Is the picture to large or is there an additional step that I need to take :?:
