I got this unit from a friend, can anybody tell me about the authenticity of this unit and the manufacturing data. Thanks

It looks to be a Colt Python with a four inch barrel. Looks authentic to me. If I am reading the serial number correctly it is probably a 1963 model.
Perhaps someone can come along with more info.
