.... I just joined up. This looks like a good place to come to.

There is a small consignment of 'mint' Lahti L-35s coming into Australia shortly. Does anyone have an idea of current values?

I did a little research and read where the Finnish guns were valued up to 1200.00 and were made of good steel. However the Swedish made guns were made of low quality steel and were valued at about 450.00.
I would do my homework before I bought one.

Asking price is equivalent to US$1200.

First and second variation Finnish L-35s (serial # 10001 thru 4700) demand a premium of $3,000 for 100% or $2,500 for 98%. The 3rd variation (serial # 4701 thru 6800) are blue booked at $1,500 for 100% and $1,250 for 98%. The 4th variation (serial # 6801 thru 9100) $1,250 for 100% and $1,000 for 98%.

Be careful. It's all about correct grading. The difference between "Mint" and "Near Mint" could equal several hundred dollars.
