Newbie here, hope you don't mind my asking. I am searching for a good, solid investment target gun. I own a Dan Wesson .357 and a Sigma 9mm but the ammo kinda gets expensive. I am seriously looking for a good quality target gun and the Ruger MKIII seems to be the one to get.

I've looked at the Ruger website and found both the Competition and the Hunter models. I don't see a real big difference between the two in price so I thought I'd ask you folks. Would it be possible for some advice please?

I really like the stainless finish on both - so that is not an issue. The Competition model comes with a thumbrest, I am right handed so that should work good. Well, any suggestions or advice would be highly appreciated.
