I picked up a Model 10 last weekend at a local gun show. The trigger pull is 4 pounds and the trigger doesn't even move!!

Double action is smooth but runs about 12 pounds.........

Now for the question..........any one know of a listing showing serial numbers reference year of manufacture??

Congratulations. You've got a really fine firearm. My 10-5 is a joy to shoot and could be the most accurate gun I own. In this day and age of semi-automatic handguns people overlook these gems. I'm kinda glad they do. You can't do any better than a good ole S&W revolver.
