Well I wont be the first to say overall Taurus brand guns have never impressed me as being good quality , But this 1911 clone is a very
good pistol.
It was accurate, no FTF or FTE with my Hornady XTP HP
reloads. It digested a whole box of Blazer 230 gr FMJ without a
hiccup and is just plain fun to shoot! I will see how it holds up
but it would be a great platform to build a custom gun, but
is just fine the way it is. Taurus did their homework on this one!
I have had Kimber ,Springfield Armory , Rock Island and Sig Sauer and
it shoots as well if not better than the lot of them, so Kudos to
you Taurus USA! Well Done!

Ran another 100 rounds through this gun yesterday,It is just running fine
so far. No hangups or glitches whatsoever. It is a pleasure to shoot.
I am using several different brand magazines in it and all seem to work well, Act Mag, Kimber, Taurus and Chip McCormicks mags all seem to feed
with out any problems. I think I will put a shok buffer on the guide rod just for kicks. If your thinking about buying one of these dont hesitate
they are very nice guns!

Another 100 rounds through this gun and the groups keep getting better! No FTE or FTF's. I have no complaints, this is an awsome shooter.
It loves my reloads and has very little recoil. I am not changing a thing on this gun right now, I am very happy with it.

I have heard they have a few problems with some having the ambi safety
shooting loose, so far no problems here. I just hope it stays that way,
time will tell. I have put about 500 rounds through it so far. It is still
just breaking in , and the groups are getting tighter

As for now I will just keep reloading and have fun with it! Regards Sig Shooter

I too have had great luck with the PT1911.
I have several thousand rounds through mine, and it is making one hole five shoot groups at 12 yds. It is more accurate than a Gold Cup that I have now sold!
I bought it on a whim as it was too cheap to not try!! It is now my favorite 1911 and is very accurate~
