"Howdy fellas, Im the new guy," Today was a great day, went down and bought my self a new 500 with the ported compensator a total of 9 inches of barrell,"WHAT A GUN" intantly fell in love, this thing is the cadillac of big guns! My little Glock 40 has just gone to the back of the bus, such a smooth shooter. Ive already spent about three hours this evening polishing it up to a chrome like finish. Nice site ya have here.

Welcome! I have many stainless guns and I'm curious to know what you used to polish the finish. The stainless finish on newer S&Ws needs some work out of the box to make them look good. Too many little marks going in too many directions.

Welcome aboard! That's a monster gun you've just bought!

Ive already spent about three hours this evening polishing it up to a chrome like finish.
If you have polished any S&W stainless into appearing like a chrome finish in 3 hours, I'd like to know what you used to do the job.

I actually used my Dremel tool, I have several diffrent polishing tips for it, I used mothers metal polish, first I used the the dremel to do most all of the dirty work, then spent the most time polishing with more mothers by hand. It came out really nice. Yea Id say its quite the handfull! Got a pretty good deal on it at local shop. "You otta see the holster I bought along with it, it goes all the way to the knee".
