I just got a nickel plated model 13-2 today. It's a beauty, pinned and recessed, with some wear on the grips. When I went to my dealer to pick it up they finished the paperwork with me and pulled out a nickel plated 10-5 with a standard barrel, not a heavy variant, in beautiful condition. On the backstrap it has "Detroit Police" engraved into it. I found it interesting that they had this gun set aside until I came in. They hadn't settled on a price yet but they called me later and asked $275 for it. I think it's a fair price so I'll pick it up tomorrow. I wonder if they bought this gun knowing I was coming in for mine. Seems like entrapment to me. :?
I just picked it up around 5:30 this afternoon so I haven't had a chance to test it. I imagine a K frame .357 magnum will have quite a bit of "jump" to it.
