Firearms are usually rated by the percent original finish remaining, but other factors such as rust, pitting, or freckling, alterations from factory condition, or signs of incompetent gunsmithing (such as buggered screwheads or cold-blue touch-up) will all detract significantly from the value.
Without a good, honest assessment of the condition, no value can be assigned.
