My CCP is pending with the sheriff, but just couldn't pass up a new Model 37.

Is one of the japanese contract matte black finish, case colored hammer and trigger. Hammer came factory bobbed and has the pin on the hamer. Also no internal lock! looks like this one here...

my local shop had a slightly lower price than this and no s/h or ffl..

Have not shot it yet, but I'm sure its a handfull at under 13oz. Might have to put a larger grip on it as I wear XL size gloves, and have a hard time with small grips..

Try to get a range report soon.

Nice gun! I just bought a pocket revolver yesterday too. I'm just waiting for my dealer to receive it for me.

Some things I really like about your gun:
1. NO INTERNAL LOCK!!
2. Hammer mounted firing pin
3. The grips look big enough to be comfortable
4. Good overall dimensions
5. You got a great price

Congratulations!

Made it by the range last week. Here's the initial report..

The 37 is rated +P, but I was shooting winchester White box. Wow what a handfull! I am going to replace the grip. The Boot style grip is too small for my hand. After about twenty rounds, I had a slight bruise on the bottom of my trigger finger from inability to control muzzel jump with the grips.

Eveb tough I consider this a point and shoot kinda snubbie, the sights seem to be "on", And I was producing "groups" at 7-10 yards. I might light load some 38spl just for plinking with this gun, to see how accurate it is.

Function was flawless. Trigger pull is accetable, if not exceptional. Not sure now is the time to put the money in a gun which won't be a regular pleasure shooter...
