I just got this gun from my father who passed away awhile back. I can't identify it all. I've looked everywhere. I know CMC is colt, but I can't find a Colt, a Colt replica, a Colt kit, or anything that looks remotely like this. Even if the gun was made yesterday I want to know what it is and who made it.

Glock 19 for size reference

Bore as compared to a .32

This is the stamping.

Sorry to tell you that your pistol is definitely not a Colt.

It's a reproduction muzzle loader. Dixie Gun Works sells them in kit form for around $100.00

It's called a "snake eyes" deringer and is sold in either kit or assembeled form. Dixie does sell a lot of them. The maker has changed over the years, and I have no idea of the age, but the previous post is probably right about the value.

This is one of a series that includes a pepperbox and several other small BP pistols.
