Chip, if you are looking for a comparison of the two then some questions come to mind:
1. Purpose of the revolver?
2. How many rounds do you expect to shoot per month/year/etc.?
The EAA products have been shown to be of "OK" quality for the most part. I do not know which country manufactures this particular one. Bud's gun shop carries it and they have a great guarantee for all of their products.
S&W has a very long reputation to stand on and most of their products are of great quality.
Price wise.........the S&W is probably three times the EAA.
Hey Road, Thanks for the reply. I was just looking for opinions on each.
They will be for home/personal defense for wife & self
thenumber of rounds fired will by amount I can get to the range. most likely no more than a 100 or so a month.
My reason for asking is I was looking at buying both at the time I posted ( since then I did buy both) they are used got the pair for 550.00 OTD with a couple of cheap hip holsters.
The EAA 357 is stamped "made in Germany"
