other than a s&w .38 spl no idea.

well i got this ole revolver from my now passed grampa. for some reason i like to know the history on any of my guns. anyway, its a bonfied smith & wesson M&P. s/n on the bottom of the grip is S8345xx lookin for year made, frame type, etc. shot 124 rounds through it yesterday of various old brands of .38spl i found with the gun not one misfire.

Not sure of the exact year of production, but it's an oldie...... note the screw at the top of the sideplate; I think that was dropped before WWII.
