Well it definately is a carry gun. I'd shoot the 245, the baby glock, and the HK compact - see which one you like best. Personally I like the HK compact, probably because it is bigger than all of the rest. I know it's a carry gun, but I'm assuming this isn't some ankle holster gun or something of the sort. The HK compact, I believe is better built for the .45 round. Bigger mag, not that I could imagine ever needing more than maybe 2 or 3 shots if you were in self defense, but for the range getting the accuracy part of hangunning brushed up on.
Back on the 245 - not a bad gun. The worst part about it, and it isn't even that bad - maybe a little heavy for its size, but other than it's a straight shooter. You probably wouldn't go wrong with buying it, but in my opinion could do better with something else.

Yeah, I'm with you...

I've owned and fired many SIGs over the years (Uncle Sam), and they are 'da bomb

I have a 245 and a 220. The 245 is a great carry gun if you don't mind it only holding seven rounds and your hand aren't to large. I love mine.
