I have a new 226 only has 220 rounds through it works perfect I also bought the 22 conversion how ever the new slide is very difficult to install in the frame and when assembled when I pull the slide back and release it it does not close all the way unless I push it forward The darn thing is just to damn tight has anyone had this trouble? And if so what should I do contact Sig Sauer or try to buff the metal to obtain the proper fit?

call SIG.
if you "buff" thru the anodizing, you will end up with the bare metal and that isnt the best choice. also, there could be something else going on.
