I recently purchased a p226 sport
It is my first pistol and i have noticed a slight click when the trigger is released, is this normal ?

I bought it from an american store and they are very slow to respond to my email

Yes, it is probably just the trigger re-engaging the hammer for the double action.

strange i went shooting today and it didn't have any problems
maybe it was just breaking in or something i dunno..

I really like it now anyway
