Who made your .357 barrel? Factory or aftermarket? I am looking to purchase one for my 229.
I really don't think you have a P229 in 9mm!!Alert said:I have a 229 also..9mm..two tone..nightsights

1994 thru 1996, reintroduced in 1999, still making them today.fomocofan said:When I bought mine they were only available in .357 or .40
I see now that they are offered in 9mm...When did they start this?
I just bought a pistol just like this, both barrels and all. Thanks for the tip on carry loads, I'll give them a try (although I kinda like Hornady TAP rounds).P229 .40 S&W (<Daily carry )
Crimson Trace laser grips
Alternate .375SIG barrel.
4 Spare mags which work for both the .40 and .357
I have had it for approximately four years now, and so far... no matter what I feed it, it just keeps on going.
To the point of boring..... but that's a real good boring
Standard carry load is the 155 Speer GDHP .40 S&W or the 125 Speer GDHP .357 SIG
