I'm new to polymer frame guns...love my Taurus 24/7 Pro so far.
If the frame is made of polymer with some sort of metal frame underneath, what keeps the frame rails from wearing through to the metal after years of use? What is a good oil (breakfree, remoil, corrosion-x?) to use on the rails that will not degrade the polymer? This whole plastics thing is new to me...I'm an old carbon steel guy!

Wish I could give you some advice here, but I am an old carbon steel guy, too. Just started to tolerate stainless steel in the last few years.
