I know from reloading shotshell, that brand of primers can matter there. For reloading pistol (45 ACP) is it the same way?

This is what I have for a base:

45 ACP
230gr Lead Round Nose Bullet (swaged)
5.0 grains Red Dot
Federal 150 primer (standard large pistol)

I have a box of Winchester Large Pistol Primers, but Alliant lists only Federal primers for 45 ACP.

There are minute differences in the primers, however I mix CCI and Winchester regularly. Honestly I can’t tell any difference.
The load won’t change and if I were you it wouldn’t bother me to use another brand.
