Hey Fellas
I am looking to buy a six inch Taurus revolver from a friend. When i picked it up to look it over I could hear a rattiling sound that seem's to be comming from the firing pin area. Is this a normal thing on one of these revolvers? :?:

Don't have a lot of experience with Taurus....but I would assume thats not normal. You might try posting on the Taurus forum.

Ive never been a fan of taurus, inferior quality IMO when compared to S&W or Ruger.

I wouldn't buy this one until it was checked by a good pistolsmith. The only pistol that I know that normally rattles is a 1911. The first new revolver I every purchased was a Taurus back in 1972. It was a good weapon. I fired several hundred rounds through it before I traded on a Mod. 14 Smith.
